Mapping Subterranean London – Secret Citadels

Beneath the busy streets of Westminster lays a maze of secret and unused tunnels, many were built as shelters or citadels over the last 150 years. It is rumoured that many tunnels are still classified under the Official Secrets Act with a suspected 5 storey bunker beneath the current MI6 Headquarters. Many of these rumours have spread since Kingswood Exchange was de-listed to sell on the open market. This drawing maps both the vast range of bunkers, shelters, citadels and tunnels along with their intersection with underground and hidden rivers.
